Role
One who is able to help with a club/group activity under the guidance of a qualified ASA Teacher Certificate (Swimming) holder.

Aims

• To equip candidates with very basic technical knowledge.
• A basic knowledge of safety.
• A basic knowledge of skills.
• A basic knowledge of the ASA Education and Training Structure.
• A basic knowledge of the ASA Competition Structure.
• A knowledge of the benefits of swimming.
• Knowledge of club/group expectations.
• Length of Course 6 - 8 hours.

This is the first stage of involvement in swimming. You might be a relative of a swimmer or leader of a group (cubs/brownies). Why wait on the poolside when you could provide help and assistance?
